It has been a while since i posted. We have a few new additions to our family. The best is our new son Hayden. He was born on Nov. 3rd. 6lb 14 oz. and BEAUTIFUL!
As far as the egg it got its own new addition. We bought a '05 GMC Safari---WHITE. I'm sure i'll look like an "egg train" driving down the road. I really like this van but i haven't towed with it yet. In the spring i need to install the hitch. I can't wait for the spring!!!!

VickiC,
Way to go, the more FG campers, the better! And a new tug to keep the family safe. . That's what I call a great Christmas.

Congradulations are in order: hear, hear!! Hope to see lots of close up pix of the little one soon. Get lots of closeups of face, fingers hands, feet, ears, hair, stuff like that. Hayden won't stay small for long, & you'll be glad you got the closeups later! Blackmail works great on teenagers!

Thank you for the happy thoughts and wishes!
I added a few pics of my two boys to the 1st post. The first pic is Hayden at about one month old. The second is a photo from the hospital with my first son Logan (6 1/2yrs.) holding Hayden.
I had some great camping pic of us this summer. I was very preggers and i could barely fit let alone turn 360 degrees in our little egg (what a sight) . Unfortunatly my computer took a dive and i lost all my pics

Trailer: Love Bug / Chevy Astro

I tow with a Chevy Astro, same van as yours just different chrome. Check out U-haul for getting your hitch installed. They had an option for these vans that replaces the factory bumper mounts and puts the hitch out of sight except for the receiver. I like the way it looks.
As far as the towing ability of the Astro/Safari, they are great. I brought my Love Bug back from West Virginia to Wisconsin and only lost about 1 to 1 1/2 mpg. The hills were not a problem either. I can't wait to get out into the Rockies.
Congatulations on the new baby. Every time I look at a baby I have to praise God for the miracles that he gives us every day.
