Man do I have cabin/camping fever.

I have been snowed in and over worked. I can't wait to dig out my egg or even my tear drop, get out make a camp fire sit and do nothing but hike and relax!!!

I agree with you!
I may get camper out of carport-wash it and then just sit in it and relax.
Then I need to change a few things before the end of April-we have a vintage rally to go to.
Kansas weather has been pretty chilly/cold/snowy/windy this year.
Very nice this week-yeah.

We went out to an RV place briefly and had to dig out snow to do it. The TV was higher than we could get the trailer! Can't wait to actually camp. Earliest we have been out. One bad winter.

I'm on the opposite end, just got home yesterday from spending 4 months in our Casita. Happy to get back in the house. Got one of the tractors out to clear snow for a place to put the camper, then found our sewer line is frozen or plugged. Still working on fixing it

I'm like Bob and Mary. Benn gone 3 months, close to 8000 miles, currently 350 miles from home. Debating about 5 days or so to get home or just ending the trip in a day. Hopefully our sewer system is fine, at least the live-in house/dog sitter hasn't said anything. I'm ready to get home but then i'm not.

I feel privileged this year. I live in N. Dakota. 50F. Today 60+ tomorrow. What little snow we have will be about gone in a few days. It's tempting but I'm going to wait til April to pull my Scamp out of the big tent. I intend to hook up the 12v system so I can start getting things ready though.

This has been one long brutal winter, especially for you folks in the northeast. I was in Rochester a couple of weeks ago on business and it got down to minus 39 wind chill factor. Just awful. The "polar vortex" that was holding the bitter cold air over you has moved however, and you should warm up very soon. It was upper 70's here today. I knew there was a reason I lived further south.

Wonder how long it'll take to melt off the last 24"s we have? No big hurry though, won't be any campgrounds open for a month.

Looks like we are starting to thaw. It got all the way up to 52 today.
It will not be long now it it stays there. We still have a foot of snow in the front yard but that's better than the 3 feet that was there Monday!

Ready for the road

This is the most stationary we've been in 14 years. I'm ready,

I received my 2015 Newfoundland road map recently. As a result I've started growing my beard for our trip north. We leave Florida around the beginning of April and May 10th we leave NH, giving us a month to get home and pack.

Though we have work to do to prepare our NH home for it's sale, we decided we can't give up our trip. Work will have to wait until July 1st.

Today I got my sewer line thawed out, then unpacked the truck and even got some of it put away. If we get too quick of a thaw I'll get water in my basement. Next camping trip is to RI in april to work at the camping show in Providence.

Lookin' out my front door.
Three days of plus temperatures has finally started the melt. We've lost a foot already and if this keeps up we might see Spring in about a mouth or so. Water running in the gutters in the daytime. Low fog in the mornings. Beautiful, wouldn't miss it for the world!
