Midwest fiberglass...

It seems to me that most people who participate here are from the west coast or Canada or both!
How many of you are from the U.S. Midwest,Say within 3-400 miles of Chicago? Just curious, I know of a few of you, but the rest must be lurking or always out camping or something!

Hello again Greg I originally hail from southern Illannoy and "swamp east" MO.myself, but my home is N.Illannoy.
Any chance you'll make "Land Between The Lakes" in KY, or "Fall on the Mississippi" in Il. this October?

Military Brat? Navy maybe?
So what is the one place "not to miss" in Oregon? I hope it's the Columbia river gorge, cause that's where I went when visiting your area
Crater Lake maybe? ...You say!

Yep, Army Brat. You want ONE must see place to visit in Oregon? It would depend on the time of year and the time one has to see it. The entire Oregon Coast, the entire Columbia River Gorge. Silver Falls State Park. Crater Lake. and on and on and on. I've lived here for a very long time and still haven't seen it all!

We live in western Wisconsin along the St. Croix River and 40 miles or so from St. Paul, Minnesota. Lots of good camping around here!

Probably not going to make the LBL meet but I am working on making the one at Brown County (Nashville, In.) in October.

You should check out ClearLake Iowa this month, or... Fall on the MS near Rock Island, or Land Between the lakes in TN just south of Paducah KY, next month.
If you haven't been to a ScampCamp or other fiberglass meet, you are truly missing a good time and a chance to meet some really nice folks. or check out the one which GregH referred to.

Come to Clearlake IA!! (in two weeks) You have lots of people with Fiberglass trailers close-by you who will be there.
You would love it if you could make it there!

Oct 14-16 Brown county park, Nashville, In. Go to the search thingy here on the site and type in Brown county and it will get you to a thread about the meet, it does not show up on the Rally Calender.

Moderator's edit: Here's the link to Oct 14-16 Brown County Park, Nashville, In.

We're from central Illinoise, as my dear Mom used to say, but moved to Denver area in 1987. My Dad's people were from Land Between the Lakes. He was born in Bumpus Mills, TN. I need to come back for visit.
