Live in far north MN next to Canada, is that still the Midwest? About 13 hours from Chicago which is about the right distance

Only because there are two state lines in between, people in Metropolis will tell you they ain't far enough at 400 miles!
Are you coming to ClearLake..eh?

Midwest enough for you?

You're only a few miles from us, we're at exit 112 on I-80.
Can you make it to Courtland's "Fall on the MS" fiberglass rally at Hampton Illannoy next month? The Moffet's rally at "Clearlake IA" this month will also be awesome!

Floyd,

Not this fall. I am doing tenure papers. Even at that, I seem to have something going every weekend.

We will try again to make Roy's fishbake. And I still have not given up the idea of having an IA or IL rally. I just have to get through this year.

We have gone to the Clear Lake one when it has been closer. Kevin went last year, but I was busy and did not go.

Everybody will welcome you,...but it just might make you want an egg even more, It could even help you find the features you really want most!

Cool Mid West?

Is that anything like the Middle East? LOL

Actually, I am just coming up to the point where I will have lived in Washington as long as I have lived in Wisconsin.

I remember: Bubbler, Door County Fish Boil, Gertie the Duck* (THAT really dates me), Schlitz, Pabst, Miller, Gettleman's, Marshfield, Blatz, Point, schnibblings, Kearney & Trecker, (used to work there), the 'souse side', Jones' Island, Laverne & Shirley, the Circus Parade, the 6th, 16th, 27th & 35th street viaducts, Militaires Drum & Bugle Corps, Lake Band, the Electroliners, Chicago, Milwaukee, St Paul & Pacific, Marquette University (met my wife there), The Dells, American Motors, House on the Rock, Bradford Beach, Lake Michigan freezing over, Cave of the Mounds, Wisconsin Tower, Clark Gas, Halfway House, Mader's, Karl Ratzsches, George Webb, Piggly Wiggly, custard, WOKY, etc.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

We've been in southern WI since 1976 and both grew up in the central part of the state. Must be a lot of Scamp people in the Midwest. See you all in Clear Lake!
