Hi guys,
Just watching Nancy Grace on cable and saw the bridge collapse in Minniapolis. Do we have any friends in the area and are they ok?

I've been following it as well. It's a major disaster. We just returned from Minneapolis over that bridge last Saturday. It's going to be tough for folks to get through Minneapolis for a while. That was a main artery road. Our best wishes for all of our friends up there!

Hi gang,
I have been watching as well, it is aweful. We have a friend that works in Minniapolis and he says it is the busiest bridge, always packed with cars. He said that the pictures just don't do it justice as to it's size and devistation and that is is a main artery into the city. We were glad to hear he was doing fine as well were his family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those involved in this unbelievable tragedy.

P.S. I also heard that on a bridge evaluation scale from 0 to 120, the saefty of the structure was rated at 50! Being it's a federal highway, perhaps they should have shifted some funds that way to bring it up to a better rating. Just a thought!
