Monopod-British Super Egg

Perhaps this has been posted about already but couldn't find it in a search. This is pretty cool and reminiscent of an Oxygen. It appears to be fiberglass laminate-or just fiberglass. It got a bit to techie for me to know in the specs. Lower left of the first page.
IH Monopod

monocoque!- Understood that bit

Those big front windows are visually impressive, but think of all the bug splats and dirt it would accumulate in a day's driving.

The door sags.

Like mike said about the windows, and as well, rocks could get expensive.

ooooh, I like it! And it's really not all that big... well compared to a couple of all molded trailers we're used to seeing:
21' 5" outside
20' 8" inside
Headroom 6'7" to 6'1"

Read the rest on the website... check out the bed sizes!

Impressive. Lots to like about it.

Though, I do wonder what those handles on the rear of the unit are for.

That's the body length, but in eggs (and in no other type of trailer, by the way), we use overall coupler-to-bumper length. They label that "shipping length", and it's 25 feet... or the size of the largest recent production egg, the Bigfoot 25B25 series.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

Beautiful but HEAVY. 3400 lbs dry to 4400 lbs wet/ loaded. Not gonna pull that with a RAV.

those front windows are beautiful....and yes, they'd "dirty up" quickly...but they do give a fantastic view!
i'm thinking this trailer would be waaaaay beyond my price-point, though. perhaps it's a very good thing it's across the pond. temptation be gone!

I'd settle for an Oxygen or even an Oliver.

The door looks straight. It does have a lip. With a ten year water ingress guarantee as well as the price tag I'm sure it's quality....would be curios as to the warranty/solution on window rock chips though!

The original article/review I read quoted ~ £45k (~$70k) Because of the small market each unit is custom made to the purchasers layout and decorating specifications. The interior layouts shown are "recommendations". You can find a few more interior designs on the web. The paint job is also custom and can be matched to your tug.

Though I really like it. I agree with some, its a bit big and fancy for my tastes. I'm more vintage and minimalist. Though I wouldn't turn down one as a gift.

Front windows or not, the frontbof a any towed trailer is going to get dirty. The only improvement over having a front window is having an opening front window
