Good morning, all-

In the past, I got really good information from several of you about my rare Mity Lite Spacesaver. I now own another rare bird, an EZA Chalet, built in Oregon in 1967. Anyone know anything about this?

I have seen Chalets (and thought of buying one), but never a Chalet like yours! Wow, so different from the 'modern' ones. Looks like a molded fiberglass box... what about the roof panels, are they each 1-piece molded FG?

Does EZA stand for anything? My searches aren't recognizing the manufacturer.

We owned an Oregon built Chalet (2004). Much like the stories about Casita and Scamp, I've read Chalet was started by an employee of Aliner. We met someone with a '93 Chalet that looked much like ours so they've been around a while. This has a lot more glass and a fiberglass? body. Ours was stick built. I would send a note with a picture to the current manufacturer. Also, there used to be a forum on Yahoo. Good luck, Raz

There was one of these with the exact same body mold lines for sale on Ebay in 2014. The model # is 28-1458.
Here is the photo of it that someone added to Pinterest.

There is still a "Chalet" company making Aliner trailers in central Oregon
Little doubt that it is a direct descendant of the company that made yours. Their website says they have been in business for more than 3 decades.
