I can't believe it! Up until last week I thought they were just window shopping.

They went today and picked up a 2003 16 ft Scamp side dinette! I just talked to mom and they are very excited to clean it up and try everything out.

I'm excited because maybe we can meet somewhere in between California and Missouri to go camping!

Or, back east to Missouri? A lot of pretty COE and state campgrounds in Missouri. Let your folks do the short tow?

Yeah but they are retired and we are not.

Gina, I would love to spend some time in Oregon!

Sherry and Paul, I was telling them I had heard there were nice state parks in Mo. They will have to check them out.

Doug......My mom said if she ever saw Quartzsite again in her life time it would be too soon. Her mom lived there for years and my mom doesn't like it there.

Sounds Great for sure!

We have a simular Scamp and really like it. Sleep in the back bed is a little tight is the only downside.

New Mexico would be a nice inbetween place to meet, IMHO.

Typically, kids follow in the parents footsteps... you guys have it referenced and who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!?!? Hope your parents have many, many happy camping trips!

Adrian, I was thinking of New Mexico. Thank you for the link!

Ed, they are in Springfield. Thanks for the friendly offer, they may want campground suggestions when they are ready to camp....when the weather warms up a bit!

Donna, it's so funny really.....mom said she would never camp again but she has heard how much fun we have and there are some places camping is the only way to go. We shall see how they adapt to it. I told them to go while they still can!

Hi Liz

Maybe you could get them to our Lake Casitas Rally this year. Probably around Halloween again. They are retired and you could have a nice visit with them ..
