My Most Favorite Campground Ever!!!

My most Favorite Campground Ever is: Lake Hartwell South Carolina's MODOC Army Corps of Engineer Campground. My wife and I have camped there since 1974 and LOVE this beautiful Army Corps of Engineer campground. There's no other place like it as far as we are concerned.

So what's YOUR absolute favorite campground EVER?!

That would have to be BULLARDS BEACH STATE PARK near Bandon, Oregon.

There are so many different reasons for trying to decide which is best, but near the top is Fisherman's Bend BLM Campground, OR. $11.00 (with Senior Pass) per night for full hookups in a forested pull through.

Edward, we loved Modoc, too. When we were there the wild muscadine grapes were ripe, so we picked all we could eat. Wonderful memories!

Nehalem Bay State Park Oregon - next to the cool little surf town of Manzinta Oregon.

It's a tie for us between our two local favorites: 1) Whitewater State Park near St. Charles, MN and 2) Beaver Creek State Park near Caledonia, MN

Oregon has wonderful state parks... they're all my favorites! But like Frederick, I truly love Bullards. But, I'm thinking a lot of that has to do with all the molded trailer owners I camp with when I'm there

Not a lot of experience so far, but really liked Redrock RV & Camping Park in Island Park, ID. Just over the rise in the picture is a lake called Henrys Lake.

Gosh, I just went through all my campsite photos and I for the life of me couldn't pick just one. I'd see one and go "hey, that was a great place" then I'd see another and another.

I think it might be easier for me to state the campsites I liked least. They'd be few and far between. But there have been some.

We stayed in a yurt there Sept 5th. It was real nice and we hope to be back. Silver Falls was also great in Oregon
