My New '74 Perris Pacer

Brought home my new(new to me) Trailer today

A red and white 74 Perris Pacer, for $1500

I'm so stoked to finally get one of these. You see about six months ago i saw My first Boler trailer on the freeway and I thought that trailer is perfect for me and my family.

Up untill now we have been camping in a vintage tent trailer and have had a blast with it but then I saw the Boler and decided a little more comfort would be great. So I started scouring the Internet, Well first i knew where I had seen one before(not knowing what it was at the time) at a local storage place so I did some investigating only to find out they didnt want to sell it.

So I finaly found this one on Craigslist through a friend of mine, went to look at it did a little negociating and brought the sucker home.

Can't wait to get some pictures on here hopfully by tomorow.

Nice Find!

A 1974 might be one of the first years produced and could provide a missing link in the history of these. I'm wondering where you picked up the "minit" to add to your topic title?

I'd love to see some pictures of anything that details the manufacturing labels for clues. Any documentation would be a bonus. Maybe you can provide some info to what we have been able to determine of the history of these trailers so far.

I love that model of the VW. Both are rare finds, you'll be a hit at any shine and show.

To me It seems like Perris Valley Bought these Trailers form The company that made the Minit and put there logos and Vin plates on them But its just a guess, or maybe they just borrowed the name.

In the Gallery the Minit and the Perris Pacer Pics are very similar.

Im not sure hot true it is but i read online that the minit was made By Beta Industries in Washington state

Hopefully the paperwork Will help Fill some holes In the Info
