Smile My new avatar

Well, it too several days to figure out how to download to this forum. But I finally was able to create an Avatar for myself.

CHECK IT OUT!

I'm still playing around with several backgrounds and one completely new image. But let me know what you think of my first image.

I was spinning my wheels for several months. But found this discussion on CNET:

Avatars: Engineer the perfect digital you | The Download Blog - Download.com

After reading it, I got on both Wee and Yahoo and used their Avatar building software. The hard part was figuring out how to get my new Avatars onto this site. I'm still not sure how I did it, dumb luck?

If you have a windows operating system, there are several programs you could also use.

Hope this gives you a start....

Thanks for the quick reply ...... I Googled and found a site that created my 'picture' Avatar while I play trying to create one of me and our Little White House.

yes it is it picture on my posts. I've been trying to fugure out how to create something that represents me and my TT interests: training retrievers for competitive hunt tests and field trials.

Had a hard time finding a site where I can create something that looks like me. And then downloading it to this site.

Okay, I guess I need to get glasses, a larger monitor, or just pay more attention; I initially looked at your avatar and thought you were standing next to a pot (sack) of gold at the end of the rainbow Now I can clearly see it is a retriever!

Neat idea!

Thanks Raya.

One of my dog's is named "Dreamer". She was named after the song, "Over the Rainbow". So this is me and Dreamer getting ready to do some training.

I'm still working with other backgrounds. One has me at a trailer camping site. If the image is small enough, no one will notice that the trailer is not fiberglass.
Otherwise, I'll just say it's belongs to you.

Love the new avatar!.. As an aside - you can load avatars that are up to 80 x 80 pixels. There are some specific step by step instructions here in post 11

Hi Jane,

Thanks for the info. My problem was getting the Avatars loaded onto my computer so that I had something to grab hold of for this forum.
