My precious Liberty van companion is no more!

Anybody out there? My precious Liberty Van Companion is no more. I am reporting her tragic demise. We had her parked next to the barn in a covered carport we had made for her. She was my Princess. We had a terrible barn fire which totally destroyed the barn and everything in it. The heat was so intense that there was nothing left of her except the running gear. She will be sorely missed. R.I.P. Angel Princess.

What a shame! From what I recall, it’s a rare molded trailer made from the Amerigo molds with an upscale interior. Very, very nice.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Thank you, I had put so much work into her. I raised her collapsed roof with all new supports (cross beams? rafters?), replaced the wood in the quarter section of the trailer containing her left window, and resealed the window, and had her axle replaced. I did all the other work myself and I am a petite lady over 70. We had her out less than a half-dozen times and she was perfect for our needs. She is missed.

Thanks, everybody, your thoughts are very much appreciated. Yes, thankfully there were no animals in the barn at the time and we got the tractor out.

What seems like a tragedy now may be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully you have insurance. You can buy a better trailer and build a better barn. It is best not to hold on to tightly to our possessions since they will all be gone at some point.
