After six LONG weeks of waiting and begging my friends to go with me as I have never towed anything before I finally have it....we left at 7 pm last night for the 5 hour trip over the pass (see how desperate I was) arrived at the hotel at midnight and woke at 5:30 to be at Rusty's house by 6 am so we could be on the road by 7 am..arrived home at 1:30 with my 77 Scamp that tows like a dream..even nervous ol' me was able to maneuver the Scamp without total fear after the first 10 minutes...It is so cute.. a few minor personal touches and she'll be ready to go. Thank you Rusty for all your help and even calling me on the road because she was worried about my safety..and thank you Sharon for rushing over when I got home to help me back up which I managed to figure out by myself before she arrived...I will post pictures tomorrow..Showed my son who said "Wow thanks mom now this is what I'm talking about." (I got rid of a useless, never used, impulse purchase sticky that he referred to as the "twister trailer.") Son loves the bunk beds, husband loves what he is now calling "his trailer" and I have a safe secure trailer that I can maneuver myself Yea! I have the best friends ever!

Towing fears will subside. You will love it. And ain't it funny how everyone becomes attached to the little egg?

brandy...
glad your home safe and sound with your "new to you" trailer... I too always get the jitters when i first head out.. but after a few min..i just look straight ahead and dont worry to much of how many people are behind me.. they can pass if they dont like my 55 mph driving... gettin on the freeway is always nerve racking for me.... i am always hoping to get behind a "big rig' .. everybody scoots over for them...

Inquiring minds want to know, was he referring to The Game or The Storm?

Congratulations!
