Mystery Trailer
While camping at the KOA in Mackinaw City last week end, we saw this little "Egg." Couldn't make contact with the owner, apparently she is a regular here according to the Campground personel.
This is my first attempt to upload Photos, so I hope this works.

The tail lights suggest that this is not a Scamp or Casita, but I am not familiar enought with the Burro, Trilium, Boler and U-Haul versions to identify this one.
The color was a steel gray that seemed to math the color on the tow vehicle as I recall.
Anyone know what this is?
Thanks
Dave

It's got a rise on the top like a Trillium or Surfside, but it's more rounded. I think we have one of those some where else in here, but didn't know what it was then either. :)

Ches & David:
It is not a U-Haul
It is not a Burro
It is not a Trillium
It is not a Play-Pac
It is not a Monarch
It is not a Cadet
It is not a Beachcomber
It is not a Companion
It is not a Surfside
It is not a LiteHouse
It is not a FiberStream
It is not a Compact, Jr.
It is not an Amerigo
It is not a Play-Mor II
Could possibly be a Love Bug with converted tail lights and windows
Could be an ECO
Or it could be a WISP

Mystery Trailer
Thanks for the quick replies. I will keep watching. If things get too difficult, I will just have to go back to the KOA I found it at and wait around for the owner(s). I am told the come there frequently and do lots of bicycling in the area around Mackinaw City. I have also been told that the Owners live in Charlevois, not very far from the campground.

Frame
The frame on this mystery trailer looks like a modification. With the front compartment box, propane tank, and the remaining length of the tongue of the trailer, it almost looks like a boat trailer frame.

The front tounge looks like a mod to me too (probably as a result of dealing with the usual frame crack, one welding shop's first instinct was to put on a new tounge, I'd have stuck on a longer one too for doing EXACTLY what this one shows) - however - the rear bumper/frame is just like the one on my Boler and I'll wager is stock. The tail lights are probably modified too. The recessed holes probably housed the same big round lights that most of the early eggs had. The rectangular ones were probably put in when an owner couldn't find a replacement lens. I'd also guess that the silver color is a modification. The windows are throwing me. They look more modern to my eye than those typically installed on early eggs.
I'd wager - whatever it used to be, it's been fairly heavily modified.

E.S.
Why do you think it is a Boler?

My vote is it's a Boler. The bumper is Boler. The tail light pockets look like a Boler that has had rectangular lenses installed. (smart idea considereing how hard it is to find replacement round Boler lenses).
Look at this 1980 Boler taken from Bolerama. Looks the same.

I agree with E.S., Nancy, and Steve. I saw a Boler tonight sitting forlornly
in a trailer lot and it had the same bumper and spare tire setup this one does.
Also the roof line was the same, although the tail lights were round and
the windows looked a bit different.

Hi Chester. Forlorn it might have been, but there was a not-for-sale sign
in the window. Which reminds me, JR was interested in wild life, and this
trailer lot had a large group of jack rabbits hanging around - why I couldn't
guess because there was nothing to eat but gravel. I think the lot was Novak
RV in Calgary.

Dolphin
Chester, here is another one for you, but not really a mystery. In the alley
a block from my place, I notice a couple of fibreglass trailers. One is a 13'
yellow Boler, with what appears to be a skin disease on the lower front part.
The other also appears to be a 13' fibreglass trailer, with the name Dolphin
on it. It is a more square type, similar to the Hunter other people have shown,
with a sort of raised section in the middle of the roof. I don't think I have
seen this name mentioned here before.
I don't have a digital camera, or I would try to post a picture - in fact even
my film camera is short a battery at the moment.
