Julene's Boston Bungalow (BB, Bun or glow for short?)
Tardis of Dr No (is this the show?)
Shelly (surprising egg connection - scrambling around )
Cloud 9 or Deviled Egg - what a choice. humm Shoebox with Silver Lining.

Dr. Who is the show of which you're thinking.

Hmm, sounds like the start of an Abbott and Costello routine.

Charles, "un neuf dog" translates to "one nine dog"; you were looking for "un oeuf dog" it is pronounced the same.
Suz, ever think of "Crepe Suzette"? They are made with eggs and taste soooo good.
Love the Deviled egg idea.
We're still working on our 13' Trillium (project). With our Motorhome, it was easy: Harvey the RV... Jokingly we called the pair: Harvey and the bean.
Sue and her friend Kathy who thought it was a "buttery" colour, when in fact, it is a faded ugly green, tried to convince me that it resembles a "Honey Dew" melon. We have been bouncing around the following: Jelly bean, James Bean, Jimmy Bean, Escape Pod, Rolling Bean, Rollin Egg, Over Easy, Chicken keeper, Hard boiled, Crossing the Road, Humpty (Good one for the folks who thought their 5th wheel looked like an aroused animal) Dumpty, Mr. Bean...
We could be a couple of Eggcentrics, Eggcetera, Eggcentrix, Eggcellent, Kinder (treat for the kids with a surprise inside)...
Peanut, Bubble bean, Glass house (Glass Haus) you know, fiberglass...
Glass-Class, Mini-Pea (cute one hein? Like Mini-Me)
Sasqwash or SassQuash (good one for the Bigfoot)
Bean Toad (being towed), Dragin ball (dragon ball), Trekking Trilly...
I think I've been sniffing too much fiberglass dust...

JD - possible trailer names

Greenbean?

Edamame? (You know, the Japanese soybean snack! Green soybeans are very close to green trailer color. I personally find them revolting because I think they taste like lima beans, but I understand there are folks who like those too!.):sick

What about Harvey? You know, like the old comedy skit "This is my brother darryl. This is my other brother Darryl." :lol

People Pod?

Two peas (in a pod)?

Caboose? (ok, wrong color, but cute!)

Garvey? As in Harvey.

Green M and M (ok, possible trademark infringement, but they are crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and they don't melt in your hands).:crazy-ii

throw this out

Kids used to say Party Hardy to describe an all out good time.

I might use Tardy Hardy to describe an all out no sense of time.:zz

Finally named mine, I think

Still gotta see how this one feels over time, but here is what I came up with.

My tow vehicle is bright red. The trailer is white with blue trim. I had already decided on a navy, red and cream interior (based on my fabric stash: small navy and cream gingham fabric for curtains, an existing red tulip bedspread for the fullbed, navy covers for the cushions and the couch, and red and white calico accents for cushions, bed skirt and tie backs).

I am looking for personal freedom and the trailer will allow me to transport my own little 15 x 7 section of peace wherever I go. So, my rig becomes:

Freedom and Wheeled Peace.

This also differentiates between wheeled Peace and winged Peace, my VERY un-peaceful Nanday conure.

Names

We haven't named ours either. We are not so fortuneate as to have a green one or anything interesting or outstanding to help us. We have a sage green Seinna for a tow vehicle. (2000 - 16' Scamp)
There are some good ones floating around. My husband wants to have a Jerry Garcia theme, as in teddy bears and roses for the Grateful Dead. A thought. My nickname is froggy (being of French Canadian heritage)so I thought the Lilly Pad. Nothing to do with eggs, but it's a start! It is harder then naming your pets! But I know where to come when I need to do that again too!

A couple of others might be Pup Palace, or Pooch Palace.
I am really bad at this, so don't snarf too hard! That's why ours doesn't have a name yet!

JR, way too funny! Being big Newhart fans, we had thought about my other brother Harvey. It does look more like a bean than an egg for the time being, but that is gonna change for sure. Funnny story: The Trillium was an 8 hour drive from where we live, but in one of our friend's neighbourhood, so we asked Kathy to go and visit it for us. She asked what to look for, being that she does not know anything about trailers. We told her what to look for; mold, leak stains, chips, scrapes, dings, etc. condition and colour of trailer and equipment, pay attention to door and door frame, etc. She calls me back from the guy's driveway... OK, what do you want to know?
What color is it?? Beige or green (the 2 colours of the year) Its sort of a buttery colour, definitely not green...
The insides is orange, WHAT? Well, more like a cantaloupe color (like that sounds better than orange). Any dings or cracks, No. (The thing is full of them) No mold, mildew, etc... Great, please give them a deposit and we'll drive up Saturday morning to pay it off and pick it up.
We get there and she directs us to the folks home... Kathy, if your butter is that color, throw it out!! Its way past due. This thing is Green, baby pooh green!!! I turn to Sue: Oh, honey, what is my favorite colour?? Blue? Yep! Oh honey, what is my least favorite colour?? Dunno... GREEN!!!
They were an older couple (ok, older than us, but with some mileage left on them...) they had bought it to go camping with their grand-kids. The kids loved it and they hated it, so they were selling it at a loss; it was a good deal, $2200 Cdn even if it needed $1500 worth of work...
It was parked backwards in the driveway and the tires and underbelly were full of asphalt sealer. They had hired a "professional" to seal their driveway and instead of moving the trailer, the guy just "mopped" around it... I tell yah, this thing needs alot of TLC and as Sue puts it, it will be nice once I "JD" it. One thing for sure, it aint gonna be GREEN... Lucky for us, there are lots of beans of other colours. JD

Deb and JD

Deb:

What about Gr-eggful Dead?

Or 'T'all.

As in "Sienna 'T'all", that is if you really use it for traveling.

Might your husband take it personally if you called it "Frog and Toad" (Wind in the Willows, of course). Or you can name the green Sienna Frog and the trailer is obviously Toad.

JD:
You seem to be familiar with French, thus you might have an appreciation for Cajun cooking. And, you live in the frozen north. If you paint it red you can add spice to your life with "Red Beans and Ice"

JR

I like the Frog and Toad. I haven't read Wind in the Willows (it's on my list) but Bill has, so maybe...

His other idea is to name it after some kind of neutrino or something scientific, since he works on the underground experiment in Soudan. The name for the experiment is MINOS- Main Injector Neutrino Oscillation Search (good thing I am wearing my t-shirt)Anyway, the idea are endless, arent they? Maybe I could come up with something that also stands for MINOS. That might geta bit too much, but would make for good conversation.
