Need advice on price 95 Casita SD

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1995 Casita Spirit Deluxe for $8500. I was wondering if this seems like a good price. The unit appears to be in excellent condition considering its age.

Since it's a deluxe, I assume the NADA for it includes all the goodies such as a/c, awning/ etc. so no need for me to check any additional options for pricing.

That being said, the NADA only comes up with between $1800 and $2250 for this unit.

I realize these great little eggs don't go by the NADA due to their longevity and popularity, but wanted to check with you experts because we are ex-Airstreamers and motrized units so this will be our first time with an "egg".

Thanks for any and all replies!

Good for who?

Prices are so all-over-the-map for these trailers that the only "right" price is what a willing buyer and seller agree on.

So true about them all over the map, but I hope someone here has a good idea of a ballpark price range it should be.

Thansk for your reply.

1/ NADA has nothing whatsoever to do with actual prices that FGRV's are sold for, fergetit...

2/ Look in <<<fiberglass-rv-4sale.com>>> and there is a pull down for past ads. While they don't show actual sale prices, you can get a feel for asking prices in your area.

NADA pricing for all molded towables

There's two prices actually. Sellers price and what it's worth to YOU to own it. Some areas of the country, finding ANY all molded towable in usable condition is difficult.

Ask yourself this... when was the last time you saw a used all molded towable, that was in the condition you thought was acceptable for a price you were willing to pay. THAT will be your answer.

NADA.....

Yes, seems a little high for a 1995.

it's all about time. place and manner.

In about 2 months, in California, that Casita, condition allowing, will be bumping $10k+

Location, location, location. Condition, condition, condition. AND how bad do you want it

I saw a billboard on my way home yesterday...

While we're busy postponing, life is speeding by.

Good words!
