Need Help Identifying a Fiberglass Teardrop

I am looking for information on molded fiberglass teardrop trailers that were made in Wenatchee, WA in the early 90's. I was told that it was called just that, "The Tear Drop" it is very egg shaped and has lift up doors on both sides as well as at the back kitchen area. Any help in identifying this and or information about them is appreciated. Thank You

Here is a thread which contains info on that trailer and make:

Teardrop American

And another link: http://www.mikenchell.com/forums/vie...407&highlight=

Yet another link regarding a c
Compact: 1962 CamPACT

There is some question as to whether the "Teardrop American" is a fiberglass trailer. Some say that the "Campact" is fiberglass and "Teardrop American" is poly. So check out the above listed link.

Hope this helps.

Many Thanks on Teardrop I.D.

No question about it, that's the one. I recently uncovered a stash of enough new parts to build about 5 of these things and, as I have been rebuilding molded fiberglass Sunraders for a while, I thought that I might go into something smaller. At that weight even a Toyota motrohome should be able to tow one.

Thank You Again

RE: Teardrop
As I was told that the parts pile came out of a company in Wenatchee, WA that went out of business, I would bet on them being Teardrop American. I will be back where they are located in a month or so and get more complete information.

Bob, Please keep us posted on your Teardrop American search. As you know by now there are a (small) number of us here who have one, as well as a few people who need something lighter to pull with a smaller tug and may be interested. rb
