I like your answer Carl. I remember years ago when I told my wife I'd do the dishes on a camping trip. Her eyes lit up but changed when I tossed the paper plates and all into the fire pit and said "done". Think I lost a few points When your boondocking water outranks water useage everytime.

I have seen too many dogs licking their own and other dogs butts, drink out of toilets and eat all kinds of garbage off the road. Why in the world would anyone want a dog eating off the same plate they use?
