Talking

Went to Santa Rosa Ca And picked up the (new) fifth wheel this last week.
Left Colo on Wednesday afternoon and drove to Saltlake Ut that night. On Thursday Drove across Nevada and into CA We stayed with friends about 50 miles east of Sacramento that night.

On Fri we drove to the bay area to get the trailer. That is where the story gets interesting.

Replaced the wheel bearings and races. Replaced both sets of leaf springs. Replaced both roof vents. Replaced both tail lights. Replaced both tires and wheels.

Needless to say we had a whole day of work to do before we could tow.

Made it back to our friends home East of the Capital late that night.

Saturday we drove back to Salt Lake to spend the night with some hotrod buddies and left the next morning in a snow storm.

Sunday we drove from Salt Lake to home in the snow but we got there about 3 pm

The truck and the trailer were totally covered with road slush so i parked them in the shop for the night to thaw out.

I will try to post some pictures of the (new) project soon.

Harv in Colo.

Harvey--- why don't you just buy my BF and attach it the the one you just bought. I'm sure a man with your talent could come up with a very interesting ''new'' trailer.

Glad you made the trip safely. Traveling this time of year can be so dicey!

And yes...we need pictures! I really wanted that trailer. *sniff*
