Hi y'all, :wave
Brought home my new (to me) 1985
Burro 17' Wide Body yesterday:

Many thanks to Ray Horner (and Deb).
(added due to an over"slight" on my part)
And of course thanks to Mr. Sanders, and everyone else on this great big source of invaluable information and support.
It towed like a dream. Even being that big, it's
light weight (1700#) allowed me to almost forget that it was there. My biggest hurdle was to try to back it between the house and the fence into the back yard. I've got 9' of clearance at the narrowest point, the trailer is 7'6" wide, so that gave me all of 9" to either side. I finally got it back there, but it took a while. One of my first projects is going to be to design and build a dolly with off-road
tires, so that I can maneuver it around.
Other than a mechanical once-over and a good general cleaning, I shouldn't have to do much to get it ready for our first trip. That doesn't mean I won't have tons of work to do after being inspired by all the mods posted here. No one's installed a sauna yet, have they? ;)
And yes, it will be named, just as soon as my wife and daughter settle on one.
