New Camper

Well we did it. I bought a new Scamp. Got a guy committed to buy my 98' 17 foot Casita. Going to offer my 16' Casita for sale shortly. I decided that for what I can sell my two older units I just couldn't pass up getting a new one. I decided to switch to the Scamp because of a number of reasons.
First of all I want a 16' unit that is also light enough to be towed by my Chrysler Town & Country mini van. I also have a Ford F150 to use.
The 16' Scamp has a higher ceiling than the Casita. The Scamp "hatchery" is only about a 5 hour drive from my house. I can get the same larger fridge in the Scamp 16' as is offered in the 17' Casita. Can't get it in their 16 foot unit. Otherwise there are many things similar. I don't know if there is much difference in the heater & insulation but being made in Minnesota instead of Texas makes them more in tune with the local climate since I am in North Dakota. Casita's seem to have a little more storage capacity but not a lot. It's kind of tough to tell since my old one doesn't have a bathroom & my new one does. Going to price the old 16' at $5900 when I post it. Everything works. It has A/C.
