Talking

We talked with a new owner of a Casita on their way back to Northern California near Oregon border, they were stopped at a Wal-Mart. I asked if they were members of the Casita Club, he said, "No, not yet." We did not exchange names, nor did he say the town. He mentioned he had a small egg as well, a Lite House. They had ran out of gas about 30 miles short of El Paso, Texas coming from Guadalupe Nat'l Park. He had to hitch the 30 miles yesterday. It was very windy yesterday and he used more gas than he expected. Gas stations are far apart in some areas out this way. Guadalupe Pass can get 60 to 80 mph winds at times. El Captian PK (the highest point in Texas) is where a little part of New Mexico spilled over into Texas . He was pulling their new egg with a forest green pick-up, maybe a Dodge ??. We had been shopping and noticed the Casita as we were leaving and had to stop and say Hi!

Maybe someothers will see them on their trip home.
