Hi Alf, that sounds like my work shop! Sometimes when I finally straighten it up, I find out that I end up with two or three of everything. Oh well at least my hardware store guy likes me

Very nice, congrats Batdude! We truly love our 19 and we're sure you'll enjoy yours too.
Speaking of bats, Bracken Cave is about 4 miles east of us. Largest Mexican Freetailed colony in the world. Ever get down to South Texas? Watching them leave to feed at dusk is an amazing sight.

Hi Robert,
Yes been there and done that. Quite a spectacle of nature... starts out with ~ million females in a maternity colony and the population doubles when they all have their pups.
Question...
Do you use an anti-sway bar on your 19?
ETI sent the correct load leveling hitch but missed attaching the anti-sway bar we ordered, so they refunded the difference within about 2 minutes of bringing it to their attention.
I will add one later if needed.
Bat Dude

Rally????
So BatDude are you going to the rally in Algonac state park with your new Escape?
As we used to say in Belize... "mi no know"
Did not know about the rally, or when it is.
We have our first shake down trip after Labor Day. Petoskey State Park, then Alpina then south to Tawas the home. So a trip to the Sunset coast tot eh Sunrise coast.

Congrats on the new trailer! Sounds like you already have travel plans for the same time as the Algonac rally at Algonac State Park in eastern MI. It runs Sept. 7-9 and usually has about 25 FG trailers of all types.

I know it's a small detail but I really like the maple leaf spare tire cover. Such a classy national symbol, clean, simple but evocative. I may someday have to buy an Escape or Boler so I can have a maple leaf on my own trailer.

Algonac Glassic Egg Scramble
Bat Dude, there will be about 35 campers (correction: 41 trailers) at the Algonac Glassic Egg Scramble this year, at least four of which will be Escape 19's! Would love to meet you there and chat about bats too!

Last heard it was in Wisconsin and heading to Chicago and then up US 131 to us here in Canadian Lakes.
The delivery rig is apparently 40' long and can not make it down our drive into the large parking ramp. So it will be unloaded in a large parking lot 1.5 miles away.
I will tow it home and then park it until we get the title, registration, plate and insurance.
Can hardly wait!
Cheers all,
Bat Dude

Congrats from another escape 19 owner. You will not be disappointed. Don't forget to give her a bath and wax job from her long trip to her new home. Happy Camping!
