Yes, Brian - it is worth the trip. From Prince Albert it is a little over an hour drive. We try to camp every May and September long weekends and at least one week in the summer at PANP.
There are the two main campgrounds, the trailer park in the townsite of Waskesiu and Beaver Glen just on the outskirts of town, set in the forest. There are many smaller campgrounds in the surrounding area without services that allow trailers and the prices are very reasonable for those sites. PANP is the home of Grey Owl and is abundant with hiking trails, walking paths, wildlife galore, and great shopping deals on the September Long Weekend. I actually went up there this past January to cross country ski and it was incredible.
We are heading back there for a week after the September long so it will be nice and quiet and hopefully the fishing will be better this time (got skunked last time - must have been too hot for the fish).

I have attached a link to the park with all the info...by all means, come to Saskatchewan (I sound like a tourism advertisement!
