Honda generator and dirt cheap do not go together. I've seen the 2K model's here in the States for around
1K, never seen a cheap one or I'd own it.

Frances, what is the power output of the one you have provided a price for?
The price you have provided falls way short of a 3000w but seems to be too high for a 2000W
In Canada prices are approximately (as below) give or take 100.00 with any Honda promotions at the time of sale and are of the EU series. Honda really dictates the retail prices of all their products so beware if you come across a "really outstanding" deal...there may be a catch.
1000W = 800.00
2000W = 1200.00
3000W = 2200.00
It's not in Canada, but if you are traveling to California at some point the best price I saw was in the Honda Sport shop Anaheim and it was a EU3000i for 1695.00 US

I recall Sun Electric sent me an email last week advertising Honda generators on sale. Check them out at sunelectric.com but be sure to ask them to send you a receipt and packing slip for whatever you purchase from them. I had some trouble getting this documentation a while back.

Looks like they're in Illinois.
I.d sure like to get one also(the camouflage one).
But I,d hate to think what shipping / Customs/ duty's ect would cost to get it to Canada,??
Hmmm,,,,,,might have to give them a call maybe to get an idea thou.

Why not buy a honeywell from costco , they are $400 for the 2000 and $300 for the 1000 . You can order online and deliver right to your door costco.ca , my mother has used hers daily in the camping season for a few years trouble free and I'd be surprised if she's ever checked or changed the oil other than when first purchased , it's a great honda knockoff and with $1000 savings you can treat yourself to some other fiberglass farkles lol , I'll be picking up the 1000 myself when the trailer is ready just to top off the batteries when off the grid , cheers mike

They're certainly cheaper south of the Canadian border. Maybe you can buy and have it shipped to a friend then take a road trip to pick it up! With the money you save you can camp on the way to and from, win/win
