Thanks for sharing the info. It's a nice looking trailer that fills a niche.

How much time do we have left? 2 Chr. 7:14

Correction to the correction..

My Mistake folks! I used a gauge thickness chart on the internet without my reading glasses and I was a decimal off.

Aluminum wall thickness on the MeerKat is indeed 0.032 or 20 gauge. s/b a normal gauge in American Aluminum.

Best Regards... Eric Krag

The Meerkat site has a link to a dealer in San Diego, but there is a dealer in the greater Phoenix area that carries them as well. If you go to the dealer site in Phoenix, there are numerous interior and exterior photos. Lacking, though, are pictures of a person standing next to it or lounging inside for scale.

Here is the link to Tom's Camperland, with the Meerkat inventory:

One thing that I like about this design -- you do not sleep cross ways, meaning the trailer has a narrower footprint for towing.

In layout, size, weight and concept (pop top roof), this is somewhat similar to my very favorite all fiberglass design, sadly not available here in the US: Micro Tourer Caravans. Small 2 berth caravans. Teardrop Caravans. Mini Caravans. Best smal caravan. Glamping. Pod Caravans. Teardrop Trailer Tent. Going II Cockpit S caravan.
If you look carefully, you'll note that the refrigerator is a compact, top-opening design in the Go-Pod.

I think the Meerkat now has an AC option, but not sure.

So light, garageable, sleeps 1 or 2 people.

If you like the shape of the Go-Pod, you can buy an Okca and outfit the inside to suit your needs. Sold in Saskatoon Sk. At least you wouldn't have to put it on a boat to get one! Orca Trailers and Iron Horse Trailers, light weight fiberglass enclosed and open trailers
