New ParkLiner Arrival

Well we picked up our new ParkLiner @ the Williamsport PA rally, met some very nice folks there. Some we met at last year's rally like Sue & her hubby. Sue did a great job with the Rally, taking over for Jim. We really wish we could have stayed the weekend but as others know we had a death in the family so , had to get our camper and return home. Anyway we really like the camper very much, love the layout. I only have some minor mods in mind right now, we just want to get the thing out and camp. July is going to be busy so might have to wait until Aug before going. Here are a couple of pics, and I'll try and post some more at a later date.

I'm not familiar with the parkliner and I don't see any previous pics of them in the gallery. I'd love to see more outside, but it looks well appointed inside.

Congrats!!!!

Congrats Tim turned out wonderful . Do I understand right from my reading that the permanent Flush toilet option is a 12Volt macerator kind not the traditional gravity flush? I looked up the the model on the Dometic site. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. Mike the wife picked out the fabric and I must say the colors look great with the inside.
Ken to my knowledge they use a Sealand flush toilet. But that does sound interesting, we opted for the porta potty, but can always install a permanent toilet if we so choose.
Dylan & Raz I'll post some more pics soon, been pretty busy lately.

The parkliner site says SeaLand 8100 series toilet. Then google and dometic site says 12Volt macerator. But I don't know for sure. Can anyone confirm it's a 12Volt macerator kind not the traditional gravity flush?

That is one nice looking trailer! I was completely unfamiliar with that brand.

What are the major features that attracted you to the Parkliner over say, Scamp, Casitas?

I got the idea when speaking with Chandler the designer of the Parkliner that they will put anything you want in there

dylanear, i think people are attracted to these because they are without all the rivet buttons on the exterior, the openess design on the inside, the willingness for customer customization, personlly I think the fiberglass exterior craftsmanship is superior to mine although I did notice on both parkliners that were there the hole cut in the sides for the service vents were cut with sharp corners instead of a radius and were filled in with sealant. Other than that their fine. My Casita has the same problem

Windows that can be open when it rains and a large bed.

Like Raz pointed out, awning windows, queen bed, also wrap around couch, and a two person dinette that folds to continue the couch, the trailer sits a little higher than my previous Scamp, inside hight, and yes rivetless.

Thanks to all for your kind comments I really appreciate it, and to Bill for posting the pics. I will take some more pics in a week or two when things slow down a bit.

Congrats Tim!

Hi EVERYONE!

I haven't been on this site for almost a year due to moving, and family health issues. We have been trying to catch up on everyones posts and that is taking some time. At times my eyes burn from reading so many! lol

Anyway, we have not done anything concerning the purchase of a FG camper. It's still one of the top things on our list to do in the near future (God willing).

Tim, would you be kind enough to post a photo or two of the undercarriage of your camper? I'm just wondering how much work it would take to care for it yearly?

Thank you!
Lew

There are photos of underneath in the archives. The top right search area should bring them up. Take care.
