New Scamps Available Immediately

Hello! Just noticed on Scamp's Website they have a notice stating "Trailers in stock for immediate pickup". So if the wait time has some of ya'll hesitating then give them a call to see what they have. Doesnt mention sizes or any add'l info other than what is stated above. They must have got ahead over the winter.

yes, i just ordered one yesterday and was told they have several, at least 13 footers which is what i wanted. we aren't in a hurry so rather then having them add things to one thats done we just had them build one for us.
but from what i gathered they all have the options package , which is a lot of stuff you would want anyway.
i added airconditioning for my wifes asthma, and a furnace for her terminaly cold toes. an awning, and bike rack mount,a couple other things and it came in $11500.

they say there will be a price increase feb 1st,,,but that might be salesmanship.

Wow, with the cost of used, ready to camp Eggs, that actually seems pretty reasonable for brand new.

Two years ago the base 13' Scamp was less than $9000. Does anyone know what the base Scamp costs today? Raz

Well I have a pricing sheet from 2010 and it shows the Scamp 13 Standard at $8495 and with the Option Pkg it brought the cost up to $9395. Do you think the price increases have been due to higher demand or higher costs? I know gas has remained high for the past couple of years so I'm curios as to what else is driving the continued increases? Seems like there has been one or two a year the last 2 or 3 yrs.

Fuel, health care, and taxes are the big reasons for the prices to go up as far as I can tell. In terms of Scamp I bet heating is a big expense. Here in Vt. last year oil was less than $3.00/gal. This year, almost $4.00. Still, if the base price was $8495 two years ago I bet it's still less than $9000 now. Raz

I would guess every component has an increased price. I tried to think of what hasn't gone up and the only thing I came up with was "wages"! I am sure they are trying to keep the prices as low as they can. So many manufacturers have went out of business. Considering how long one will last compared to anything else for this amount of money, seems like a pretty good deal. Love the ones with wood interiors!

i think that was the price they told me for what they had ready to go, 9,300 or around there,,,wasn;t paying good attention as i was having visions of my new trailer dancing threw my head.

they did say that the first of february they expected a price increase,,,,,but that could have been salesmanship on his part, trying to get me to go ahead and buy one. lol like dude,,,thats why i'm calling,,,to buy one.
