Hello Everyone!

We are fairly new to the Forum and /or group. We recently purchased a 86 13' Cadet.
It is truly a work in progress. We recently went to the gathering in Brown County, IN.
We had a wonderful time and was able to meet some great people and see their Trailers.

Look forward to more adventures.

Thanks,

Ron and Cleo

Ron & Cleo,
Welcome! In case you haven't figured it out already, you've now joined a group of real, class "A" nuts. We're all nuts about fiberglass travel trailers, and for the most part we each think ours is the best brand.
From the picture you posted yours looks real nice. Have fun personallizing it....and camping in it. Some of us get so involved in the process of modifying that we neglect using them.
Thanks for sharing your excitement,

Kurt & Ann K.

Ron & Cleo,

Enjoyed meeting you folks at Brown county. I was looking forward to seeing your Cadet, but
by the time we walked down Sunday morning to where you were camped, you had already left. Hope to see you again at another fibergass rally.

The n126 (as the Cadet is named in Poland) is still made in Poland and imported to Britain. I thought you all might like to see how it gets around the problem that we drive on the left, so we also want our trailer doors on the left - the body is put on the frame backwards!

In Britain the base model is sold for US$ 9,000 but in Poland it retails for US$ 5,300 - sorry, both web sites are appalling!

That price makes you wonder if there isn't still a market for someone to import them (easier now that Poland is in the Eurpean Union?) - I hope I can sleep through the pain caused by Reace (of Escape) sticking pins in a plasticene model of me, for mentioning this......

Karen K. & I took the tour of Ron & Cleo's Cadet last Saturday. They've put a lot of work into it, and I was really impressed by its condition! Ron mentioned his frustration with the Polish website and not being able to get any information or order parts and accessories--perhaps our European members (Lex?) can lend him a hand.

Ron, may I post some of the pictures I took Saturday?

Ron may wish to try the current UK importer:

Freedom Caravans
Queensville
Lichfield Road
Stafford
Staffordshire
England
ST17 4NY
http://www.freedomcaravans.com
freedomcaravans@aol.com
Tel 00441785222488
Fax 00441785224811

I have no idea whether they can be of any use - for example, the service department didn't answer their phone when I called just now! But at least there isn't a language problem - well, OK, only a small language problem!

Clearly the current interior furniture and fittings are completely different from a Cadet-era trailer, but it looks like most shell and exterior parts are the same.

The website of the Dutch importer is http://www.predom.nl
The site is in Dutch, however I master it , so ...
Years ago I did some enquiries for another member.
The Dutch importer can order parts and send them to the US.
It is not cheap.
NB. Didn't get response from the other member.
