Smile New to Group & new to me 78 FiberStream

Hi to every one,

Here's a little background information, I am a first time egg owner. Just purchased a16' 1978 Fiber Stream. This is an upgrade for me from a very small 10 1/2' tent trailer. Plan to use it at all times of the year. First shake down trip will be in a couple of weeks.

Bringing it home in the morning. Will be going over each section and taking notes on what modifications I may want to make. My husband is excited since he will not have to spend the cold winter overnights camping in the tent trailer to go Duck Hunting.

I'm excited since it will make trialing with my dogs a lot more comfortable. We both are looking forward to camping and exploring more of the Pacific Northwest now that we are retired. From there we plan to expand east to the Rockies and also the South west.

Once I have determined the modifications and Changes I will post before and after pics. One thing I really like about The Fiberglass RV site is that there are a lot of DIY folks and they are willing to share info on projects. This info and other advice I found on this site helped me pick my Fiber Stream.

Brought the Fiber Stream home today and think we have given it a name. As in my previous post we have been in a 10 1/2' tent trailer for the last 20 plus odd years. Refered to it as the "Pup Tent". We found ourselves calling the Fiber Stream the "Dawg Haus" on the way home.

Have been exploring all the resources and Tutorials. Learning my way around the site and finding very good information to use as my hubby and I decide how we want our Dawg Haus to be Restored and set up.

Hello Lizbeth, and welcome.
As Tom mentioned, Fiber Stream is a very special trailer. I know you'll love yours. I'm always ready for questions...
