I got so excited I hit the wrong key!
We have a beautiful 2008
Casita that is wonderful to camp in. I love it, but I've always wanted a 13' that I could manhandle myself, personalize, and use for a writing getaway when I have a deadline and need the solitude.
After months and months of looking in vain for my project
Casita in Texas and then a project Play Mor II when we moved here to Arkansas, I saw the ad for a
Trillium 2 hrs. away. What was a
Trillium doing around here? The seller said he'd hold it for 2.5 hrs, and Ken and I were on our way for a "look-see". 2.5 hrs. later we were driving it home. Here's the Referral, thanks to Camilla's and Kevin K's diligence:
Trillium
I wasn't going to confess to buying this because when we got it home and I went through it after the original "high" wore off, not only did I wish I was wearing a respirator, I realized I was in waaaay over my head. I spent 24 hrs. alternately elated and ashamed.
HOWEVER, after taking 90+ "Before" pictures and assessing what really needed to be done, I think maybe, just maybe, I can do it.
Since my list of questions is as long as my To Do list, I am hoping some kind, patient members will take mercy and advise me on things that I can't find answered in earlier threads. Although I don't like to sweat and REALLY don't like other people's/animals'/bugs' grime, I've already wrestled out the cushions, pulled out old, disintegrating carpet pad used in the cupboards, collected trash from every nook and cranny, and vacuumed twice. I'm about to go out with my 99,9% antibacterial 409 and start wiping down every square inch.
I'm somewhat disappointed with past mods and hope to put it back to its original state. That's the simple plan. If all goes well, then I may go crazy and make it a show piece, but I'm not going to get ahead of myself. As one member said, "Take it step by step."
I'll throw out a few questions in the Problem Solving forum after I do more research in Documents and Albums. I'll have plenty of pictures to accompany each question!
Thanks in advance,
Ruth
