Headed to Idaho and picked up a very nice clean 16'
Scamp.
92 with front bunk and side bathroom - all means a bit lighter hitch
weight than some of the newer loaded units with side din front bathroom which we originally thought we wanted. Lighter hitch is better for us.
The trailer was very well cared for and it appears to have not been used much at all and has been kept covered for a better part of its life.
We hit head on winds coming out of Idaho through the Columbia River area and well beyond. Dust storms and tumbleweed flying at us! Gusting well into the 70's in places if not higher. At one point it was blowing so hard we were going down a very steep hill and the max speed we could get was 30 MPH without using the gas. Then we hit a snowstorm in the pass and then a parking lot on the I5 through Seattle rush hour - the TV and trailer had no problems at all through any of this. The new Tekonsha Prodigy brake control worked well. We were able to cruse at 65 MPH very comfortable with no sway action at all, even when we had winds hitting from the side. Very happy with this comb.
Only a couple of minor things we want to fix up/improve on the trailer and look forward to hearing the collective words of wisdom when I post on those later.

PS of our total 24 hours of driving time we did not see a single egg on the road - only 1 T@B.
