It says the construction's "aluminum sheets" --

Pretty cool little trailers, though.

I think I'd still want to take along my camp chair for sitting outdoors.

It's like Ikea built a caravan/trailer! The storage door giving access to the rear bunk area is very clever. Although Deseo is German, their web site is available in English: Deseo Caravans

€5,999 is $7,200 - has anyone just got more interested?

The Deseo is made by part of the group that also makes the T@b.

Loaded (without awning) the DeseoPlus is EUR 8656 ($10,415.35 USD), still not a bad buy! I would guess that it won't have the longevity of the molded FGRV though.

I like some of the ideas I see in this unit, and although the trailer body is not our moulded fiberglass, the ideas can still be inspiration to us. Fabric storage modules, for instance, could be an interesting approach.

The rear access door, for use primarily when the rear area is configured for storage, seems to be a common feature of stick-built travel trailers with a bunk setup running along the curb side at the back (like a B1700 or some Bigfoot side gauchos) - the bottom bunk in those units can fold to leave a tall storage "garage". I think the ability to have a door of that size and position is an argument for one-piece flat sides, rarely found in moulded fiberglass trailers; the Fiber Stream is the notable exception that I have seen.

Since the T@B is also produced in the United States by one of the many Thor RV companies, the same method could be used to offer this trailer, but I doubt that would happen. While the T@B has appealing novely (due to its shape), I think that the Deseo would just be considered to have inadequate load capacity. Although it is large by egg standards, it is light in both empty weight and allowed total weight, due to light chassis components.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
