Hi: P. Raz... My only complaint was white has only one colour interior...GREY. To get a beige interior I'd have to get a red truck!!! Go figure.

I use my Frontier as a work truck and I have a tan interior and it really shows stains. I wish mine had a gray interior. If you did not get the fabric treatment, Wally World sells Soctchguard in a spray can in the auto dept. I recommend spraying the seats before you get any stains on them.

When I bought my 2010, there was the same truck on the lot with a beige interior. I wanted it because I think the beige looks nice, however it was sold just hours earlier. So I took the exact same model with the steel grey interior. I think it looks good too.

I see on the Nissan site they still offer white/beige on the 2011 models.

Maybe a salesman just told you that because all they had was grey?

Hi: Eddie Longest... What I did for the beige interior on my VW. New Beetle was get two inexpensive bath sheets and get my wife to make two buttonholes at the end for the head restraints to fit thru. Then tuck them in at the base of the seat back to hold them in place. They didn't interfere with the seat back air bags and could be removed to the washing machine when dirty.

Hi: Dale AZ... At Nissan Canada only Carmine Red or Navy Blue are avail. with Beige cloth all other colours are Steel Grey only!!! SHEESH It's certainly clear that the whole of Canada represents less than 10% of U.S.vehicle sales!!! There's more Californians than Canadians!!!

OHHH shoot. I never thought about Canada being different in options for these trucks. That's a bummer.

Like I said I like the beige interior too, but ended up with the steel grey. I like it though as its still fairly light colored. I don't like real dark interiors.

Thanks, we are SO excited to get a trailer with everything we think we wanted. From a wonderful couple, in nice shape and a very fair price to boot!

Here is a quick combo picture. This was the 1st time we hooked it up, we're just on the way to take the trailer to the storage place. (I can't keep it at home )

Truck pulled it great, but its squatted just a tad in the rear. I think I will look into a small weight distribution hitch.

Hi: Dale AZ... Unless you find a lot of trailer sway, or the tail wagging the dog feel you really shouldn't need a WDH. If your tongue wt. is aprox 200 lbs. or (10-15%) of trailer wt. and your truck is a 1/2 ton truck you probably won't need it!!! 1-2"s of squat's not bad.
You could use those $$$'s towards a tonneau or cap.

I think my tongue wt is more than 200, prob close to 350. But that's just a guess on my part as I have not weighed it.

Oh yes, I do want a tonneau or cap one of these days.

Hi Alf,
No, didn't get a cap or tono. I did look at a couple local places that sell caps a couple days ago. I'm thinking that is the way I will go. I had a cap for my previous pickup too. I don't leave the cap on all the time, only when I go camping. I have a hoist system that I put in my garage to hang the cap from the ceiling when not in use. One of these days, but I may have to put of off a bit.

Arggg, this spending has to stop sometime soon. You and I can't continue to stimulate this economy by ourselves.

We just installed a new A/C & heating system in our house too.. ouch!

I bought a soft tonneau cover for our Frontier for about $250 which works great in the summer but doesn't handle the cold and snow well. So to keep from having to continually shovel the back bed and allow us to put the weekly shop back there (where the dog can't get to it) I made one utilizing the track system that came with the truck. I used some scrape lumber, a couple of hinges and a sheet good called Advantech. Cost was less than $50 as I recall. I'm on my second season and this year I have a small leak at the seam . I should have replaced the foam. Raz

Hi: P. Raz...That's a neat winter solution to a soft cover. Our Tug came with the Nissan fold up tonneau that has an aluminium frame and so far has withstood our cold snaps and snow loads.
I did buy a soft push broom to clear the snow off as my usual brushes won't reach all the way across.
Whatever vehicle my wife takes to work gets the garage for the night tho.

We did the Trane thing with the A/C& Furnace a few years ago but all the energy savings from it went to other things...like trailers& camping and camping& trailers.

Looks like my truck. Four door,4-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel drive Frontier (Nissan), shell on back, tows my 13 foot Scamp like it wasn't there. I did have a SUV that was handier to get into the back of, instead of having to raise the window and lower the tail gate, but my pick-up works fine. Gets 17 mpg on the open road, not driving over 60, pulling the trailer, otherwise get a minimum of 20 mpg, and I live in the mountains. So I do not have much freeway driving within at least fifty miles of home. Happy trails.

Ours has the 5spd. Auto. Trans. If I'd gotten a 4spd Man. Tran. I'd be driving it all the time tho.
