Three or four years ago there was one sitting on a lot in Hillsboro, Oregon. I would go by it on the to and from one my kids place. I thought about stopping to take a look, but never did.

I just imaging going up over the Cascades with that. "OK everybody out and start pushing we down to less than 5mph."

And remember one really important thing - no heat and no air conditioning. Well, you do have heat - it's just in the summer and the air conditioning is in the winter.

That is one of the reasons we are thinking of getting rid of our VW Westfalia.

There was one at the VW show at Effingham, IL last year (maybe this year also, but not on Sunday. I was in an inservice on the active day, Saturday. so I was only there on Sunday. We took our UHaul there to see the show. Camped in a really nice campground, if anyone is going through Effingham. Called Lakewood Campground.). It was fun to look at, very 70's in decor.
