Smile Not Fiberglass, but Small B-Class

Could be used as a tow vehicle for those who need more room.....a second bedroom perhaps.

I find it strange that the standing room is in the front and the kitchen is in the back. I used to have a VW van similar to this, but the kitchen was in the middle.

Yes, they do. I've seen Ford E250 van conversions made by Westfalia... but not on a recent VW...

Last I heard Westfalia had filed for bankruptcy. Not sure what happened. Pleasure-way makes a Ford pop-top called the Traverse and Sportsmobiles come in many forms. We owned a Pleasure-way Lexor TS and it was very well built. We went from a 13ft Scamp to the PW Van and now to a 25ft Bigfoot. Not to steer anyone away from a fiberglass camper but the Vans are really cool too.

Yes, it reminds me of the VW camper vans of years ago. The price tag seems really large for what one would get. Too rich for me for sure. I looked at Roadtrek class Bs, but price put me off. Didn't want so much capital invested sitting in the driveway most of the time depreciating.

But as John mentioned Vans are cool. We had a Chevy Conversion Van with a back seat which could fold out into a bed & 4 captain chairs back in the '90s. We used it as a tow vehicle for a TT. It was nice to travel in with or with the trailer, very comfortable. Could be used as an extra room with a bed when needed. It even had a few small window with screens be allow fresh air into the unit. It even had a rear A/C, but not ac powered. We picked it up used. It was a Conversion Van, but not made as a camper as they are doing them now.
