Novel Trailer Hitch Mod for 5th Wheel

Came across this novel trailer hitch mod on another forum, and thought it could be adapted for some of the fiberglass fivers:

I'm a little concerned. I don't see any safety chains hooked up.

And this is what is the result when "Reasonable, mature adults" do the thinking?????

But it only works for a Scamp 19, because like the Scamp it isn't a real fifth-wheel.

(This is a classic, which appeared in this forum several years ago.)

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

I can not believe how many people tow with vehicles that are WAY too under powered or not right for their campers. How can this guy steer with the front wheels barely on the ground?
