OK Maybe I do have a PROBLEM?

We all know the drill here........I bought another Casita!
In my ongoing quest to move up the ladder (or something?)I found a 2002 17' Freedom and it has followed me home. It happened so fast I can not really explain it but it is an evolutionary step for me,again.

It is a year newer than the one it will replace and is in truly amazing condition and the original owner was a Modding Maniac but in a good way.

I now have the newer style curved top door which does work a lot better than the Square corner door on the '01.

Rooftop Air with Heat Strip which I used this morning after getting up in surprise 40 degrees weather.

Many useful and well done but tasteful mods which I will detail later with pics.
-Curtains on sliding tracks mounted onto the factory mini blind housings? Never seen any like them but they work well.
-Xantrex Battery Monitor
-Custom Rear Bumper with skid wheels and drying rack.
-Skid Plates for the shower trap.
-Single Bar WDH and Sway Control.
-New Kumhos and Hub Caps.
-Innerspring Mattress and Sleep Sack System.
And on and On.

Anyway I stayed in it last night and slept like a baby, the bed is great and I needed the Sleep Sack as it got very cold unexpectedly.

I also used the WDH and Sway control despite my skepticism about them and I think I am sold.

So now there are 3 lined up in the driveway and well the neighbors are just speechless, not exactly surprised though.

More to follow.

Ed

Oh and I will have a 2001 SD for sale soon,I hope.

Ed, can you tell us what you like better about the Casitas versus the Fiberstream? I really have always like the looks and layout of the Fiberstream (although not too excited about the tiny wheels).

Dont you hate it when trailers will not sit and stay and instead just follow you home! Who trained them to do that????

Hey, as far as I'm concerned better than finding out you have a "problem" with bar stools sticking to your butt . In other words.... there are worse PROBLEMS than having an addiction to molded fiberglass trailers.

Mike

I wouldn't say I have compared them all that much really?
I have kept the Fiberstream to restore if I ever get the time. In fact I am convinced now that all I needed to do to get business to pick up was to buy the Fiberstream with that in mind,I have not really had time ever since!

The Stream is bigger all the way around, taller and roomier inside in general. It has a King bed layout if wanted and has huge windows all the way around. It is mainly a huge straight sided box open with possibilities to remodel.

The Casita is newer,Slicker and ready to go today .

I like them both,I never met an Egg yet I didn't like even the ones I don't really like!?

Have we met?
I have been down that road too but this is what I do now.
I have a Girlfriend who is a therapist too and it is tougher to hide these trailers than a Bottle, but with a little determination.....

Ed, at least FG addiction is only harmful to the cash flow.

Hey!
We are just following those who have come before us here on Fiberglass RV. I wonder what the record is for a non rental fleet?

I don't know but tis is not the first time I have had 3,not even the second time!

Funny but I keep moving up the line each time but I am not sure how I feel about the Freedom VS Liberty thing?
The Captains chairs are not that comfy and a terrible waste of space.

On the other hand I see the opportunity for a custom dinette in this ones future.

Hi: Ed Harris... I always find an hour spent on my therapists couch is better than one spent on my own!!!
