Having been in the formula race car action eons ago (driver owner) if a FB tralier were made of carbon fiber it woudl be much stronger and also huge reduction in weight.

Guess that would ramp up the costs a heap to do that and not have a market.

I bet so does Escape since they've had 7 molds made.

Mystery Molded Fiberglass Trailer

Saw this on Facebook a while back. It was a 'For Sale' listing on Craiglist for the molds and other goodies. Don't believe it ever went into production. Anyone know anything about this trailer?

I'll take one

Shoot I'd even consider taking a dealership role. Very classic design. Hope they go into production.

Oh, my! When I was a senior in high school a hundred & fifty years ago, I wanted a '57 Chevy Convertible so bad I would've sold my soul to the devil (well, maybe not, but it seemed like a good idea at the time) in exchange for that car. Even knowing there wasn't a chance on the planet that I'd get it for graduation, I still dreamed it'd show up in the driveway.

Well, it didn't show up, but I told myself I WOULD HAVE a '57 Chevy Convertible before I died. I'm a lotttt older now, but I haven't given up. I'll be the COOLEST 80-yr-old on the highways!
