$28,000 ??? WOW, no wonder he sold it quick before anyone could change their mind.
I'll almost bet that the seller was the most surprised of all.....

Let us know if you hear of what the buyers plans might be..... It's really a cool look for the Tin-Can types.

Pretty cool. Kinda like a US Willerby. Hope to see one done up someday...or perhaps in production.

Would also be interested on a confirmation of the production timeline. The "60's" is pretty early for a molded FG trailer in North America.

Edit: A quick search on Avocado Green say's it was introduced to the Appliance world in the very late '60's and was a popular colour through the seventies. A hint?

Wow! Those are way cool. Thanks for sharing the pictures. By the time I saw this thread and clicked on the link, they'd been sold and the ad had been removed. Would really love to see one of these going down the road someday!

The two sets of fins, ala 1959 Pontiac, that and the big "V" in front are a dead give-away for very early 60's. Most fins were gone by 1965.
But they could have been intended as a retro look much later.

The only single molded trailer I know about (and I've know to be wrong!) was the Fiberstream. And there's wasn't a whole lot of those made.

Who ever bought this business opporunity, I hope they're successful (according to their business model), truly.

Think of how much it costs to create new trailer molds nowadays. I can appreciate someone being willing to spend $28K if they got the mold plus two shells.

Having been in the formula race car action eons ago (driver owner) if a FB tralier were made of carbon fiber it woudl be much stronger and also huge reduction in weight.

Guess that would ramp up the costs a heap to do that and not have a market.

I bet so does Escape since they've had 7 molds made.

Mystery Molded Fiberglass Trailer

Saw this on Facebook a while back. It was a 'For Sale' listing on Craiglist for the molds and other goodies. Don't believe it ever went into production. Anyone know anything about this trailer?

Nothing much in the all molded towable world gets by this group Gage. Certainly doesn't hurt to post it again... for that just in case no one saw this...

I'll take one

Shoot I'd even consider taking a dealership role. Very classic design. Hope they go into production.
