On the road again!

After at least 20 years of sitting, my dad's old trailer was finally back on the road yesterday! We're looking forward to our first overnight adventure on the 19th to get the bugs out. I think dad is smiling down from the heavens to see his baby rolling again. I tried to upload a video, but it wouldn't let me.

Stupid us took video instead of good ole fashioned digital photos, but now I cant' seem to share them here. They're short and sweet, so I'll keep trying. Anyone want to walk me through the steps S-L-O-W-L-Y???

I suggest using bug spray long before then. It will make your first night much more comfortable.

Thank you Donna and Carol. I guess even in our fifties we have to learn something new once in awhile! Please tell me they worked this time.

Oh Roy, it's good to know you Canadians have a good sense of humor! I'm sure we'll get all the bugs out, real and imagined. Thanks for the chuckle. Filbert

It worked both movies!! You may want to consider flipping your hitch to drop the noise of the trailer down a bit more - just in case you ever find yourself in a side wind - tongue up often results in wag.

Very nice looking trailer. Thanks for letting us see it.

Two things to consider when towing. Level trailer makes for a better tow than noes up or down. If the nose must be either up or down, down is better.
Windows need to be closed when on the road. The window on the door was open.

Enjoy that pretty trailer.

Great job! I'm sure you will have a lot of fun camping with her. As a "glamper" I'd like to see photos the interior. One MUST have curtains you know! LOL Here's an interior photo of my trailer with the Southwest desert theme, matching curtains and pillows and all.

Most FGRVs have a gravel guard on the front window for obvious reasons. You might want to consider installing one! https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/591103

Question per posting videos:

Doesn't this forum's "Upload a video" feature work anymore, or is it that this particular video was too "big"?
