One of the attendees at our G E M this last weekend was a man from Ontario who has the ability to build models of Boler trailers. He (or someone else) has posted about him on this site a while back.
This was my first chance to see samples of his work and I must say that his cost seems a little high UNTILL you see the workmanship and detail that he puts into his work. He is in the process of doing molds for Trilliums right now so hopefully when he starts into their production run I can and WILL have to get one. He can even add a sparetire mounted outback WITH your logo on it. Anyone interested in getting a model of their Bolor (or coming Trillium) should get in contact with him. I can't remember the gentlemans name right now, (Old Fartitus??) but I DO have his card stashed away in my soggy trailer, LOL!!!!

They come in a kit or for a fair chunk of change Gus says he'll build it for you. The bodys are painted (to match if you want), windows and all 'trim' pieces are decals. They come with a very sturdy metal frame and the wheels can be made to revolve or be static, your choice. There are some 'wheel' tire choices available also. Gus has access to small 'covers' for these babys too.....

Bruce, I spent some time this morning looking for Gus' card with no results (YET!!)
In further reply to your P.M. to me, I believe he told me the models would look 'good' behind a 12 or 24 gauge tow vehicle. He does have my card and hopefully it didn't get as water logged as his did in my pocket. When he does reach me, I'll post his info (with his permission and if its O.K. with the moderators to do so...) on this thread!!!!
I just HATE this getting old(er)B.S.!

Bruce, what became of your model project? I know you were having some problems with the resin.

Liz,
I've started on a wooden plug for the uhaul first at 1/18th scale a common size for diecast vehicles that will allow some people to have what they drive etc.
The first foam plug was nearly ruined with the application of the epoxy (i think thr epoxy was old it usually isnt a problem) and in reality i'm better with wood models having an RC airplane past and current.
So times short but its coming and ill post pics soon....Bruce

Doug, I know you said for a fair chunk of change you can get one of these models...but can you give a ball park price what they cost. They look very impressive and considering the detail, can't be cheap, but just curious.

if my recollector isn't rusted from last weekend, I believe he was throwing around a figure of about $180 for a kit, price rises as accessorys are added and he can/will assemble IF you wish.
He prolly will paint ours (Trillium) when it gets off the ground. Am I smelling a foot long 'Escape' in the works somewhere down the line, LOL????
P.S., the Trailer Goddess is after me to come up with plans for her/our ( custom) 15ft. Escape when she wins the loto!!!
