Oshkosh Airshow anyone?

Anyone else going? It has been more than 10 years since I went. This will be the first time with my 13' U-Haul. Tent and pop-up previously.

My dad (83) wants to go again real bad so my son (college senior) and I will go with my mom & dad. Leaving this Thursday (23rd). Planning to drive straight through so we arrive Friday (24th).

We'll keep a look out for you.

We are heading your direction with our UHaul this weekend. Heading out for PA where we are camping for a couple of days (my husband's favorite thing to do - genealogy hunts - but we are spending a day in Cooperstown, so that makes it even). If we were leaving earlier, we could wave on the road.

We live just west of Chicago.

I see so very few fiberglass trailers here that I am hoping to see some roaming about.

Time to revive an old post: Is anyone going to be going to the EAA Airshow in Oshkosh this year July 29th to August 4th, 2013? Has anyone gone in the past? This will be my first time taking my father down as he is an avid pilot and used to go to the show every year but hasn't been in like 10 years. Already have our camping spot reserved and have tickets to fly in a Ford Tri Motor and a Bell 47 (think M.A.S.H) helicopter. I am excited to be taking my "Escape Pod" to such an amazing event. Hope someone out there has been there in the past and can tell me about the camping situation would love to hear from you.
