There seems to be some special cache with these older Boler and Trillium eggs. May I ask what that is about? Are they made differently? Better? What's the inside scoop here?

I just got a 1977 trillium...although I haven't even slept in it yet...I love it. Never mind the fact that they are light, fun to work on, very spatious, etc. etc...they have a lot of character. A Canadian icon...I think.

Good to see that you found the right trailer. It can be a tough decision. The others were good trailers, but seriously I would not have considered purchasing in that price range. I paid 3k for my Boler in mint condition and believe that people are delusional for what they can get for these "collector" items. Anyway, you will have lots of fun making it your own.

The nice thing about the Trillium is the extra height and the square corners seem to make it a little roomier. One day, the girls will both want the top bunk. There are guard rails you can add for safety.

Agree that the Trills are a step up in quality from the Boler, but some of us just can't help loving the Boler! Hope to hear more about your trips! PS. Nova Scotia is one place I've dreamed of going. Maybe someday I'll get to drive my Boler over there! Take care, Jamie
