First we would like to say Dave and Nancy Stimson, went above and beyond, and were the best people we have ever bought anything from. They installed 4 new tires,a battery and drove 350 miles to meet us halfway to sell us there bigfoot
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/in...howtopic=33562
Our other friends with fiberglass campers Keith and Beverly offered us the use of there Casita on there property so we could have a place to say over night till the bigfoot arrived at Lake Whitney State Park the next day.
Blair and Janennet McClure also met us at Keith and Beverly's http://vonsemm.webs.com/missionstatement.htm with there Scamp 5th wheel. What a great time we all had together, camping, hanging out around the fire, barbecuing and telling stories.
Cant wait for the next rally.. Here are some photos from our trip.
Here are some pics of our bigfoot..

Thanks for sharing your pictures and congratulations on your new home on wheels!
What sold you on Big Foot?
We have been die-hard double walled construction fans, since we love our 13' Baby Burro, but we're looking to upgrade and there is a Big Foot 17' near enough to go look at so we thought we should 'be open minded' and go see it. I haven't been able to get very good information on how they are built. The owner does not have a lot of information, I can see floor lay outs on the web site, but would like to know more, and haven't found an in depth thread here yet, though I imagine there is one.
Please tell us what attracted you...
thanks!

well 90% of our camping is with our two young children.
What sold us on the bigfoot was, sleeping for 4, bathroom, shower, privacy curtain ,fixed bed, and its still molded fiberglass

Golly, Gee Whiz, Holy Schmoly, Whoop-De-Doo, that there is a NICE looking trailer, Phil & Denise! Can't wait to see to in person. Katy and Cody will be able to play hide & seek inside the trailer and really hide. Now your big old diesel truck looks kinda puny . . .

That one picture next to the Scamp makes it look downright puny!
Congratulations on your purchase.

Congratulations on your new trailer. I didn't realize there were some with light wood color. It does appear to be in great shape.

Hey Phil and Family,
My wife and I have attended the last three Blue Bonnet rallies and we felt a little out of place in a stick built. We were near retirement time and planning on spending more time on the road, so we went looking at the trailers at the rally during the "Egg Parade". Blair's Dad has a 21 front bed and there was another 21 there. After some time we found a 25RQ Bigfoot in Lansing MI and we negotiated a price. That deal made us a proud Bigfoot owner also. It was owned by a very nice couple and that made the purchase very pleasant.
Bigfoot builds a strong trailer that should last for years. We enjoyed the first year very much.
Barbara and I look forward to seeing everyone at the rally in April. We have socialized with a bunch of them including Beverly and Keith. All fine folks.
Now, if we could talk Roger H into coming we could have a Bigfoot clinic. He and I have almost identical 25RQs. His has the sofa in the front instead of the dinette booth. I think his was purchased at the same time in Illinois.

Bigfoot really is a nice looking unit.
I would be curious to know if the width and more squarish profile affect towing MPG's much.

went from 18 MPG to 16.5.. The trade off on mileage is worth the extra space
the bigfoot is 18inches wider then our 17ft Casita
