For those of you who met Nick and Marlene, you will never forget them. Unfortunately, we lost Nick a few weeks ago.

Nick and Marlene were true campers. They went all over, first in their 13 ft Casita, then their 17'. Nick's path crossed more peoples' than I can only imagine. He didn't post a whole lot, but he had a wealth of information and kindness.

To put it in Nick's own words, "He was good people."

I will miss him sorely.

Let's all remember Marlene.

I met Nick and Marlene and fell in love with them. Nick was a very knowledgeable guy and a great mechanic. Technically I trusted every thing he said. In fact I made him this website's adviser.

He was always there for anyone that needed help. Do a search and read his posts.
“He was good people.”

We’ll miss him.

Nick and I shared a few PMs together. I enjoyed what he had to say. I never met him in person and that would have been on my list when i do go South in my future retirement plans.

My husband and I tried to meet Nick and Marlene in Big Bend National Park for 2 years but could never catch up with each other. Then unknowingly we all attended the Blue Bonnet Rally in April. Hubby and I were checking out the river when this couple joined us. They were Nick and Marlene! We spent some time discussing Big Bend and had hoped to meet there this Christmas. Nick will be missed and our hearts go out to Marlene.

Nick & Marlene, Wes & Maggie Rudy were at our place last spring for a few days. We had a good time and thought we would have many more. Nick's passing was a shock.
