I bought a ef3000ise yamaha generator on the second-hand market this past weekend and like many of us the owner couldn't put his hands on the owners manual. No problem I thought I'll phone up the dealer and get another one. Well price in Canada is $44 and price in the US is $20 shipped. However, Yamaha US won't ship the manual to Canada! The Canadian plague. We are always charged way more than the same product in the US. Plus I don't know why the manual isn't free. It could easily be set up as a download on the net. Says something about the overpriced units they sell and their overall marketing strategy.
Now the rant is over, does anyone own a Yamaha EF3000iSE and are willing to send/email me a copy of their owner's manual? I'm certainly willing to reimburse.

Here's the URL to VIEW the manual in PDF, and it sez it can't be printed, however, that can be defeated, albeit tediously, by repeatedly doing a 'Crtl+PrtSc', pasting to PAINT program, saving page and on to the next one.

Pete, that is much appreciated. I couldn't find that link when I looked on the Yamaha site.

I clicked on the little diskette icon at the top left and just saved it on my drive. This is just the owners manual not a service manual.

Tamid, if that does not work for you, I have that gen set, but I too would need to see if I could dig up the manual. Not real sure where it is. I could photocopy it and you could pick it up.

Petes method for extracting the file works but as he mentioned is tedious. I have a
method that allows you to build a booklet and print all pages at once if you have
the Adobe Acrobat DISTILLER or PROFESSIONAL. It is even easier if you have InDesign,
Pagemaker or QuarkExpress or another similar program. PM me
and I will outline the method. (this method will work for all pdf files that are locked.)
pjanits: You may have saved it to your desktop (as I did) but the Adobe READER will not allow you
to print it. Can you open it and print in another program?

I looked in the Properties when it was in the reader and it is password-protected against printing.
