Smile Painting original boler foam time walls?

Hi, we just got our BOLER and it's gutted (pretty much). The white foam walls are dirty and are in need of paint or changing them all together. I few questions if someone is out there who has had experience in this and can help?:

1. Do we need to worry if there is molds behind the foam walls now befoe painting? There is no evidence or order to suggest there is.

2. Has anyone ever painted these BOLER foam walls? If so what paint to we use, and if so what is the best process?

3. What about those bendy white mouldings strips that are meant to cover the seams? Lots are either dirty or missing on ours... Does anyone know where can we get these?

4. Any additional insight is much appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Deb & Wes

Hello and welcome!

I think many people are able to use various cleaners and get the walls clean, and hopefully someone will chime in with those products and/or the best way to do that

We opted to wash ours down with hot water and then painted them a clean white. I primed them with Kilz Indoor/Outdoor primer, then used Rustoleum Painters Touch Indoor/Outdoor Paint in white.

This is our second camping season after having painted and it is holding up like new. No cracking, no chipping and no peeling. It's easy to wipe down. Keep in mind there are chemicals in paint, so definitely do your research on that if you are concerned about the off gassing and fumes.

I think many people also use caulk to fill in the seams prior to painting, but you can also order a roll of seam tape from Scamp:
Tapes & Trims : Seam Tape 50 ft. Roll

BOLER inside painting

Thank you VERY much for your interior panting experience on the BOLER foam walls, along with the links of where to find such paint ! Also the tip on where to purchase the seam trip from Scamp is also extremely helpful!

Again, thanks for your insight!!!

Kind Regards,
Wes & Deb
