has any one painted there egg to match there truck ??the wife and i were talking about it and thought it would be a eye catching thing to do..what do you think i am attaching a pic of the truck...

Yes Dan It has been done and it looks cool. At the Oregon gathering there was a purple egg to match tug and a I belive a canary yellow egg to match a tug. I would look sharp

You could also just put on a stripe to match tug color.I did and was happy.I used enamel paint.

I think having a matching set with be totally cool. Dan, in your circumstances because your tug is a darker color, I think you'd be much happier doing as Ches mentioned...a stripe or some sort of accent. Otherwise the trailer is liable to absorb heat and you may be very uncomfortable in the hot summer sun.

This is one of my favorite tug/tow combinations from last year's Oregon Gathering. It's a 1954 Ford F-100 pulling a Casita. That's Tweety Bird on the side...there's another one on the front and the owners had used the same yellow as accents inside the shower area and throughout the inside of the trailer.

Paint the bottom of the trailer the truck color with some silver/gray accent stripes. Leave the top light colored for sun reflection.
