Forgot to add tha t while visiting our son yesterday we saw a trailer made by Thor that was in the 17-19' range, 7' wide with one axle, gray color, attractive cover over the lp tanks, fiberglass covered and sort of egg shaped. Can't find it on the Thor website so if anyone knows what trailer this is please let us know.

It's probably the big brother to the T@B ...It's called the T@DA.
It's not a molded fiberglass but it is well made, except that the ceiling height is very low.

Floyd, am I missing something here as my counter does not extend over the bed and I wasnt asked if I wanted anything different??

David, Thor is no longer making either the T@b or the larger Tada. Little Guy is now making the T@b but I dont think they have plans for the Tada.

.
Did you order a Custom Deluxe? If so, did you ask for any custom modifications or just pick a layout? The part extending over the bed only happens with a certain Deluxe layout choice.

Melissa, would it be possible to add a hinged, fold-down piece that you could put up when desired to extend the countertop? Then fold it back down before bed.

Yes, Floyd I got the Deluxe for the larger bed but didnt add any other mods except a couple of 12 volt outlets inside and a 110 outlet outside. Extra overhead cabinet too.

Mike, I'd forgot about that mod I'd seen before. Should be pretty easy. I was just surprised when somebody mentioned they didnt like how the counter extended since mine does not. At this point I dont know if I'll need the extra space with the sink cover and stove cover giving more room. After more use I'll have a better idea.

Oh, you're buying a Ford? (if you are old enough to recall the late '60s commercials: "Ford has a better idea!")

LOL, no Mike not quite old enough, LOL. I was born in 1970. So unless the commercials ran a decade or longer I wouldnt have seen them.
